ENGLISH FOR EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

Join our 13-week Conversational English course designed specifically for adult learners seeking to enhance their speaking skills. Through dynamic and interactive learning activities, participants will embark on a transformative journey aimed at building confidence and fluency for effective communication in everyday and work situations.

Eligibility

This course is tailored for individuals who have previously learned English and currently possess an Intermediate (B1) to Upper-Intermediate (B2) proficiency level. If you're unsure about your language proficiency, simply fill out the registration form, and we'll administer a placement test to accurately assess your skills.

The classes meet on Tuesdays/Thursdays at 19:00-20:30.

Location

Courses are held in DeFehr Center on the LCC International University campus in Klaipeda, Kretingos g. 36, where you will be immersed into an international English speaking atmosphere. In case of renewed quarantine, the courses will continue in an online mode.

Placement Test

The placement test is designed to evaluate your English language proficiency, enabling us to place you in the appropriate group for optimal learning. Upon completion of the test, we will provide you with additional information on how to schedule a remote interview with one of our teachers.

You can complete the placement test before or after submitting the registration form.

Payment

The total price for the 13-week program is 365 Eur. Payment can be made on campus using cash or credit card or by bank transfer. You can make a full payment during the registration process.

Alternatively, you can pay in two equal parts. To pay in two parts, there is an additional 15 Eur administration fee.

Family / Returning Student Discount

If family members are simultaneously studying in any LCC English program, a 10% discount is given to each one.
Students who return for the second semester in a row are given a 10% discount for the second semester.

You are welcome to use the fitness center in Michealsen Centras. Pre-paid cards can be purchased from the Business Office during regular business hours. The cost for 1 visit is €1.50.

Private Tutoring

If you prefer learning individually and at your own pace, we offer private tutoring services. Our experienced tutors, trained by qualified English Language Center teachers are capable of helping you to improve your conversational and grammar skills. Learning individually offers the flexibility you might need.
