Daiva Berzinskas has high energy, enthusiasm, and passion for developing leadership and training for people who are interested in language program administration. Using her extensive experience as a language program administrator, Daiva excels at teaching courses which give our students theoretically based, practical courses which provide them with the knowledge and skills to administer language programs.
Daiva teaches the Program Administration course in LCC’s MA TESOL Program. Daiva also teaches the Program Administration course Lee University’s MA TESOL program. Daiva also teaches English at Garret Morgan High School of Leadership and Innovation, in Ohio, USA.
This year she also accepted a job teaching an English Teaching Seminar with the United States State Department in their virtual educator program at Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand, in their MA TESOL Program.
Daiva says it best herself. “I have extensive experience providing leadership, training, and administrative oversight in support of organizational strategic plans and priorities, especially with regard to curriculum development and instructional design. I am a proven leader, strategic thinker, and seek pragmatic, creative solutions to challenges. My colleagues know me as a solutions-focused, collaborative professional who recognizes the interdependence of people, processes, technology, and organizational culture, and I have the people skills necessary to excel.”
Previously, Daiva was the director of international programs and ELL at The Webb School, a private school for students in 8-12th grade in the USA. Recently, Daiva created curriculum for English language learners and language arts teachers and adopted by the Long Island school district for use in nearly 70 school districts. Daiva Berzinskas holds a Masters of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Middle Tennessee State University with a concentration in TESOL. Daiva is a Lithuanian American with teaching licenses in two US states.
