LCC International University (LCC) provides a liberal arts education, with the goal of teaching students to think critically so they can contribute to the development of their society and culture. Research Fellows are resident or non-resident members of the faculty whose primary responsibilities are to conduct and to publish academic research that is consonant with the CFHF (lcc.lt/research) agenda and LCC’s mission. The CFHF is currently accepting applications for Research Fellows, with priority given to these areas of study: faith integration, human migration, economic development, trauma, and textual and artistic conceptions of human flourishing. University summer sessions provide both faculty and students with the opportunity to participate in short, intensive courses during the summer months.
The English Language Institute (ELI) program is an adult education program that provides working professionals in the city of Klaipėda with relevant, interactive English language instruction. Instructors assist people in reaching their language goals, equipping them with competitive communication skills that will help them facilitate the development and growth of their region. They also have the opportunity to form relationships with students and have conversations that go beyond mere language instruction.
The Summer Language Institute (SLI) is a one-month, intensive, high-energy English language program occurring during the month of July. We enroll approximately 250 students from 8-10 countries. Instructors assist students in reaching their language goals and enable them to participate in societal transformation. They also have the opportunity to form relationships with students and have conversations that go beyond mere language instruction.
LCC International University has distinguished itself in the region by utilizing a holistic approach to education where learning both inside and outside the classroom is valued and intentionally structured. For this reason during the Summer Language Institute special programming is carried out in the Residence Halls by the Residence Life staff.
At a time when students make critical life decisions, the Student Life Division at LCC seeks to give shape and purpose to their out-of-classroom learning experiences. By leading programs and building relationships, staff provide students with a practical outlet for leadership and character development.

Our philosophy is firmly grounded in the belief that learning and character development happens in all areas of life: inside and outside of the classroom. We believe in the COMMUNITY that can help each person to find identity, meaning, and purpose in life. Staff have the opportunity to work from the ground up — responding to the needs of students in the region and developing effective, relevant programs. We seek to engage all students in a holistic experience that reaches across spiritual, physical, and intellectual dimensions. The need for people committed to the transformation of students and society is great.
