“Learning to lead through service”
"At LCC, I quickly realized how different the educational model and culture are compared to Lithuanian schools. Smaller classes and interactive lectures made learning more engaging, while the liberal arts approach helped me develop real-world skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving. My favorite part of LCC, however, has been the faculty, who are not only highly qualified but also incredibly kind and supportive. Through the Leadership Development program and my involvement in Student Council as Director of External Affairs and later as President, I gained invaluable experience. These roles shaped me by teaching me how to navigate high-pressure situations, lead through service, and let my values guide my decisions. Additionally, LCC’s international community exposed me to new cultures and perspectives, helping me appreciate both other cultures and my own even more."
