Change does not come without effort

During my time at LCC I had the privilege of going through the LDP more than once. One of the greatest benefits of the program for me personally was that it encouraged me to interact with leadership as a concept and enabled me to look at, evaluate, and improve my own leadership. Change usually does not come without effort; I experienced the LDP materials and mentorship as a valuable and needed impulse that urged me to become more conscious of my personality, strengths and weaknesses, and leadership style. I can say with confidence that now I am a better leader because of the changes the LDP qualified and motivated me to make.
