1996 English Language and Literature

Servant Leader

Aušra is a 1996 graduate from LCC International University, with a degree in English Language and Literature. She completed her International Relations Master’s degree at Vilnius University in 2012.
Aušra’s career focused on what she came to LCC to learn – teaching others the English language. Aušra’s quiet servant leader style was evident in her work for the Christian Charity Fund in Šiauliai where she taught English classes and directed the English Language program there. From there she went on to teach at the International School of Languages in Vilnius.
In 2001 Aušra joined the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania. While there, in addition to lecturing, she edited a training dictionary of English for military purposes.
Aušra has been a commited Christian, and has dedicated her life to the service of others. We honor Aušra today for being the kind of contributor to society that represents the LCC mission.
