Refund Policy

Rules & schedule for BA students

After the first day of classes students must officially withdraw if they do not wish to continue in that course. See the Registrar for details on withdrawing from a course. The schedule below shows the financial consequences of withdrawing. The tuition refund is based upon the day the withdrawal process is complete, not the day the student ceases to attend the course. Housing refund is based upon the day the student moves out of the halls or completes withdrawal process.

Fall 2021 semester

  • August 30 - September 5 - 100%
  • September 6 – September 19 - 50%
  • September 20 – October 3 - 25%
  • After October 3 - 0% 

Spring 2022 semester

  • January 10 – January 16 - 100%
  • January 17 – January 30 - 50%
  • January 31 – February 13 - 25%
  • After February 13 - 0%

Summer 2022 semester

  • Through the 1st  calendar day of the class – 100 % 
  • Through the 2nd  – 7th  calendar day of the class – 50%
  • After the 7th  calendar day of the class – 0%

FINANCIAL AID POLICY CONCERNING WITHDRAWAL

Students receiving financial aid that withdraw or stop attending classes will be required to return financial aid received for that semester.

Rules & schedule for MA students

Withdrawing from a course In the event that a student withdraws from a course during a period of enrollment, the following schedule for a tuition refund is to be applied for all 6 semesters:  

Any of the 6 semesters

  • Through the 2nd calendar day of the course - 100%
  • Through the 3rd-14th calendar day of the course- 50%
  • After the 14th calendar day of the course - 0%

FINANCIAL AID POLICY CONCERNING WITHDRAWAL

Students receiving financial aid that withdraw or stop attending classes will be required to return financial aid received for that semester.
