Refund Policy

After the first day of classes students must officially withdraw if they do not wish to continue in that course(s). See the Registrar for details on withdrawing from a course(s). The schedule below shows the financial consequences of withdrawing. The tuition refund is based upon the day the withdrawal process is complete, not the day the student ceases to attend the course(s). Housing refund is based upon the day the student moves out of the halls and completes withdrawal process.

• September 2 - September 8 - 100%
• September 9 – September 22 - 50%
• September 23 – October 7 - 25%
• After October 7 - 0% 

• January 13 – January 19 - 100%
• January 20 – February 2 - 50%
• February 3 – February 16 - 25%
• After February 16 - 0%

TUITION REFUND is based upon the day the withdrawal process is complete, not the day the student ceases to attend the course. The schedule below shows the financial consequences of withdrawing from courses over each summer session:  

• Through the 1st  calendar day of the class – 100 % 
• Through the 2nd  – 7th  calendar day of the class – 50%
• After the 7th  calendar day of the class – 0%

HOUSING REFUND is based upon the day the student moves out of the resident hall and completes housing withdrawal process. The schedule below shows the financial consequences of withdrawing from housing over each summer month:

• Through the 1^st calendar day of each summer month – 100 %
• Through the 2^nd – 7^th calendar day of each summer month – 50%
• After the 7^th calendar day of each summer month – 0%

Students receiving financial aid that withdraw or stop attending classes will be required to return financial aid received for that semester.

Withdrawing from a course In the event that a student withdraws from a course during a period of enrollment, the following schedule for a tuition refund is to be applied for all 6 semesters:  

• Through the 2nd calendar day of the course - 100%
• Through the 3rd-14th calendar day of the course- 50%
• After the 14th calendar day of the course - 0%

Students receiving financial aid that withdraw or stop attending classes will be required to return financial aid received for that semester.
