Bio

Marie began as CFO at LCC International University in February 2022, overseeing accounting, facilities, and IT.  In March 2023, she became COO, officially adding HR to her leadership responsibilities. 
 
Prior to LCC, Marie served at HOPE International for 12 years in various roles including Strategic Advisor to the CEO at Urwego Bank in Rwanda and Program Advisor to Esperanza International, HOPE’s partner in the Dominican Republic. 
 
Prior to HOPE, Marie spent 8 years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, serving campus fellowships at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan. She simultaneously served as Director of Graduate Student Ministry at Park Street Church in Boston.
 
She began her career in General Electric’s Financial Management Program, as an Associate in the Latin American M&A and Merchant Banking group at Bank of America, and as Vice President at eQuest Partners, a Latin American Venture Capital Fund in New York City.  Marie holds a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston and a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
 
Her husband, Andy, currently serves at LCC as an Assistant Professor in the International Relations and Development department.  Andy and Marie also served together at HOPE in the D.R., Haiti, and Rwanda and their 3 children (the last one born in the D.R.) have grown up in those beautiful countries, in Indiana USA while their dad completed his PhD, and now the beautiful country of Lithuania!
