Bio

Growing up in Chattanooga, TN, Kevin Doremus developed an interest in international politics from internship programs through Bryan College. Interning in Slovakia created a research interest in Central and Eastern Europe. After obtaining a BA in Politics and Government, Kevin studied International Affairs: Security and Peace at MTSU. During graduate school, he interned in Hong Kong focusing on domestic servants, in Austria with the Red Cross, and in Slovakia with the National Emergency centre. Kevin’s graduate project was comparing how non-governmental organizations in Austria and Hong Kong we're similar and different. Joining the faculty in 2020, Kevin Doremus is an instructor of international relations. His research focuses on Central & Eastern Europe, US & Russian grand strategy, and foreign policy analysis. Kevin loves teaching at LCC due to relational the relationships formed with students and staff.
