Bio

Dr. Kathie Blanco earned an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from University of Houston, Clear Lake, with a concentration in Research Design, Measurement, and Statistics. Using research and data to perform various types of analysis is of special interest to Kathie.  She has been teaching in the LCC MA IM since 2022.  With her background in research, she teaches the Business Research Methods & Metrics course at LCC, helping MA IM students prepare for their thesis research and writing.  Kathie is also Coordinator of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Stafford Municipal School District in Stafford, Texas; she is a curriculum writer and editor, and an associate professor at University of Arizona Global Campus.  For many years, Kathie traveled the world as a member of the U.S. Archery Team. Kathie has a passion for family, sports, education, and helping others learn.
