Bio

In 2019, John graduated with an MA in TESOL from Northern Illinois University but has been working as an English teacher to speakers of other languages since 2010, both in the United States and internationally. In Colombia, he taught English at a private high school and has taught at non-profits and at the university level at Northern Illinois University and the University of Texas at San Antonio. In Lithuania, Cape Verde, and Thailand, John served as Director of Instruction with a US Defense Department education initiative to link English-language learners with future US Army officers. Also in Colombia, John served as a volunteer peace accompanier with the Presbyterian Church (USA).
