Ieva transitioned from a decade-long career in sales and hospitality to pursue a more meaningful role in advancing societal well-being. With a BA in International Relations and Development from LCC International University, her focus on peace and conflict studies ignited a passion for humanitarian work. She gained hands-on experience by contributing to resilience programs for refugee communities and facilitating Lithuanian language courses for Ukrainian refugees. Her journey also included supporting partnerships in Iraqi Kurdistan and exploring restorative practices in her thesis. Now, as a team member at the Center for Dialogue and Conflict Transformation, she is actively involved in projects like a volunteering program in Lithuanian prisons and other peacebuilding initiatives, working alongside the center team to foster positive change in the community.
