She has been a youth worker and schoolteacher in Germany and the US. The Myerses have lived and served in ministry together in four US states as well as the Northwest Province of the Republic of Cameroon. They have engaged in various ministries of practical service, teaching, and spiritual formation, with special attention to children, youth, young adults, the elderly, the disabled, and recent immigrants. Their short-term ministry or teaching trips include visits to Alaska, Czechia, Indonesia, Jordan, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Singapore, and Thailand. Since joining LCC, they have both acquired certification in mediative dialogue facilitation and Erasmus+ mobility training in problem-based teaching, as well as their first-ever tattoos. They enjoy nature, film, live music, board games, Moose basketball games, travel, public art, museums, and meals with colleagues, friends, neighbors, or students they are getting to know.
