Celebrating Easter
This past weekend the LCC community celebrated Easter, a bit different than normal. Despite the quarantine, our staff and faculty found ways to support our students who are staying on campus. They prepared an online service and many contributed, cooking over 100 meals for our 150 students who are staying in residence in celebration of Easter. The live-stream Easter service was led by Joel Altena, LCC’s Chaplain along with AJ Howell, Resident Director, with an encouraging word from Professor Michael Cox, and community prayer with Hannah Schundler.
It is especially in times like these that we seek to find reassurance for a better tomorrow. With all the uncertainties surrounding us and our students, we strive to create a community even if our only means of communication with everyone is online.
Updates from senior students
On Monday, April 13, our senior students submitted their final thesis projects! They are now preparing to defend their thesis online starting next week. We wish them success!
