The MA TESOL Summer Residency Session has begun! On Monday, July 29 LCC welcomed a new cohort of 8 students from Vietnam, Lithuania, the USA, Canada and Iraq. This group began their studies with Dr. David Broersma studying Second Language Acquisition this week. We also welcome our second year students back to LCC; they are studying Action Research with Dr. Doreen Ewert this week.
On Tuesday, August 6, 10 MA TESOL students will be defending their theses. They will present research on Christian witness in language programs, teachers attitudes of pronunciation instruction, line language instruction, teaching refugees as well as other topics. We will celebrate their graduation and their new graduate degrees on Friday, August 9 at 15:30.
