Staff and Faculty Celebrate Christmas

2019-12-14

Every semester the LCC community celebrates staff and faculty to appreciate how they add value to our campus. This semester is no exception! On Friday, December 13th, LCC staff, and faculty gathered together to celebrate the upcoming Christmas holiday and the end of another successful year. We celebrated those who dedicated their time and work to LCC. Some who are moving on to other locations were recognized, as well as celebrating those who keep making LCC the place it is - a diverse community of supportive people.

Natalija Zacharova-Nausėdė, Human Resources VP at LCC, shared: “Yesterday, we all came together to celebrate, reflect, and spend time together. At this time we also recognized a staff person who exhibited excellence in their work during the given semester as well as showed innovation, integrity and outstanding performance. In addition to a staff person, we celebrated a faculty member who was nominated by peers for their exemplary performance in teaching, research, and service. Fall 2019 has been a rich semester for many new students, staff, and faculty joining the LCC community. This semester our staff and faculty engaged in so much more than just regular university activities – teaching and research. They have conducted public lectures, traveled all over Europe, North America and Asia to share about LCC and foster new connections; hosted students in their homes for meals and soul-deep conversations."
