As part of the Lithuanian Language and Culture course at LCC, students visit different parts of Lithuania, get introduced to local traditions and learn more about Lithuania’s rich culture. Last weekend, the students taking this course visited Plateliai and Kartena as part of their cultural program. During their trip, they had a chance to visit the Cold War museum, as well as learn about the spirit of the magnificent Curonian and Samogitian past at Kartena festival “Opening the Gates of the Curonian Tribe.” It was a fun weekend of exploration and learning outside of the classroom for all!
