Last Saturday, October 19, LCC students participated in the TED-style talks under the theme “On the Brink”. Nine LCC students presented their speeches on various topics: respect, consumerism, Facebook response, human trafficking, transgenderism, self-confidence, and others. This is part of LCC’s continuous mission to empower students and give their voice a platform for discussion of issues they feel are important.
