LCC Student Participates in the International Session of European Youth Parliament in Germany

2019-10-01

We are proud that our LCC students think globally and act globally! Last week Miroslava Yarkova attended the 91st International Session of European Youth Parliament in Hamburg, Germany. This 91st session brought together people from more than 40 countries. “Remember, Reflect, React” was the main theme of this session. Miroslava participated as a delegate, representing EYP Russia. During the session, youth from all over Europe gathered in Hamburg to reflect on the history of the EU to identify current economic problems. They also tried to find possible economic solutions, which will be passed to the Member States and EU Parliament for possible implementation in the future.

Miroslava shared, “During last week, all participants engaged in team-building activities, followed by committee work. My hope is that this year’s International Session will provide opportunities to establish connections with people from different countries for future cooperation and the development of new projects in each of our home communities.”
