Today, February 11, started with a kick-off of the LCC International Week organized by our Center for International Education (CIE). We are hosting 14 participants from: Czech Republic, Netherlands, France, Cambodia, China, Hungary, Germany, Latvia, Portugal, Luxembourg, and Turkey. Inga Mikulėnė, Program Coordinator from CIE office shared her hopes about International Week and what it means for LCC: “The idea of the event is for our partner universities to come to LCC and get to know us better, what we do here and how we do it. Since LCC is a liberal arts university for some of our participants this week it is a new and unusual experience. The participants come from different institutions, which makes for a diverse and interesting group. The participants will participate in various workshops, give lectures, share their research and meet with LCC staff and faculty. We hope that this week will be a productive one for everyone and will lead to new partnerships.”
