LCC International University is pleased to welcome Clint Baldwin as our new Chief Advancement Officer, beginning August 1, 2023. Clint comes to LCC with a strong background in global leadership and higher education. His most recent position was as International Executive Director/CEO of Word Made Flesh International, a global development agency working in 11 countries. Prior to that, Clint worked at George Fox University (Oregon) in various capacities including as Director of the Center for Global Studies, Director of the Center for Peace and Justice, and Assistant Professor of International Studies.
Clint Baldwin earned his Bachelor’s degree at Asbury University, Master’s degrees at Western Michigan University and Asbury Theological Seminary, and is ABD in his doctorate in Leadership and Global Perspectives at George Fox University.
LCC International University President Dr. Marlene Wall states that Clint Baldwin will be a valuable member of our campus community, focused on sharing the LCC story with a growing constituency in the United States. “We are very excited to welcome Clint into this leadership role. We look forward to the growth and strength that will come as a result of the skills and experience that he brings to LCC.”
Clint Baldwin will be based in Kentucky, where his wife Sarah is the Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Students at Asbury University. The Baldwins have 3 children – Madi, who just finished her Master’s degree at Trinity College, Dublin; Kai, who is a rising 5th grader; and Emily, who will begin Kindergarten this coming season.
Clint writes, “I am honored to join the LCC International University community. It is exciting to see LCC’s hope-inspired, peacebuilding, educational culture that encourages innovation, growth, and a life-affirming civic ethic. I look forward to champion the work of LCC that makes such a positive impact in students, staff and faculty, Lithuania, Europe, and the world itself!”
Clint follows Dr. Robert Bethke, who held a similar role at LCC for the past 3 years.
