Last Friday, September 20th, LCC International University hosted a Scrabble tournament to commemorate the Day of European Languages, organized in cooperation with the European Commission Directorate-General for Translation. Scrabble is one of the most popular board games in the world. The board game aims to develop mathematical, communicative, strategic thinking skills and is also entertaining. This year, the Scrabble tournament gathered high school students from gymnasiums in Telšiai, Palanga, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Mažeikiai, Viekšniai, Mosėdis, and Plungė. The participants competed in Lithuanian, English, German, and French languages. The winning team this year in the Scrabble tournament was from Kaunas Jesuit Gymnasium. Congratulations to the winners!
