Last week, October 18-19, LCC faculty from the English department participated in the Lithuanian Association of English Language Teachers’ Conference in Vilnius. During the conference, everyone was eager to share about “Values Based Education in ELT”. Gretchen Ketner presented on the topic of Values in Action: Using Fiction to Engage with Social Issues; Charity Givens presented Ethical Sourcing: Locating and Using Sources; Ksenija Ševcova presented Students' Beliefs: Reducing Academic Dishonestly; Robin Gingerich presented Teaching Tolerance: Using World News Media to Teach Values. LCC is proud to have a faculty of such strong academics with a passion for valuable research.
