At LCC, we enjoy celebrating various cultures and their traditions! On December 13th, the Intercultural team joined Charity Givens and her students from the Food and Culture class. The students had to research various food traditions around the world and make a presentation as their final project. Everyone who stopped by yesterday the Food Bites Around the World event had a chance to taste various food and learn more about the cultural origins.

JoAnn Klandrud, Intercultural Program Coordinator shared: "We wanted an educational program that would be something students were excited about. The Food and Culture class pairs perfectly with the Intercultural’s office vision of educating and celebrating the diversity at LCC, so we wanted to do the event together. And food events are always fun as a multi-sensory experience!"
