On Tuesday, January 28, our LCC President, Dr. Marlene Wall, traveled to Vilnius for a meeting involving various businesses and educational institutions, regarding what Klaipėda can offer as the third-largest city in Lithuania. A highlight of the meeting was hearing presentations by Klaipėda business representatives, introducing possible opportunities for our city. During the time in Vilnius, Dr. Wall also met with several LCC alumni: Lina Mockute, from the Norwegian - Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, and Egle Songailiene, Marketing Director at Klaipėda ID. This was a great opportunity to be a part of such an important conversation.

“It was interesting to listen to insights from Žygimantas Mauricas, Simas Simanauskas, PMP, from Klaipėda ID, Vidmantas Paukštė from Klaipeda State Seaport Authority, Eimantas Kiudulas, from Klaipeda Free Economic Zone, and Mindaugas Kulbokas, from Newsec. The speakers showed both the incredible potential in Klaipėda, as well as the need to keep moving forward with strategic initiatives to develop the city further. LCC is proud to be a contributor to these important conversations,” stated Dr. Wall.
