Last weekend, LCC students shared the joy of Christmas with the community of Klaipėda by giving away small gifts through the Christmas City Outreach event. The goal was to connect with other youth organizations operating in the city. One of the organizations cooperating with LCC students was the Interact Club of Klaipėda Youth, Klaipėdos Interact klubas ,, Į Žvaigždes ".The Christmas City Outreach gave LCC students an opportunity to become closer to the local culture and community. While working together for the greater good, the event encouraged unity among students. Students from 10 countries-- Germany, USA, Pakistan, Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Poland, Moldova, Honduras, and Lithuania-- came together to share the joy of Christmas with Klaipėda.
Robin Mubarik from Pakistan, a second-year student at LCC shared: “At LCC we emphasize giving back to the community, especially through the Christmas season. During this Christmas City Outreach, we shared love, joy and good news. We established a good relationship with the Interact Club and hope to have more meaningful campaigns for the benefit of the local community."
