Thirty-five years ago, LCC began with a vision and a small community of students and educators. In May 1996, LCC celebrated its first graduating class of just 20 students. Thirty years later, 109 students graduated during the 2025–26 academic year, joining an alumni community that has now grown to more than 3,000 around the world. LCC’s story is one of remarkable growth and transformation. Yet each graduating class remains part of the same story — an international community connected by the relationships, experiences, and values shaped at LCC.

The transformation can also be seen in the diversity of the LCC community. In 1999, students represented just three nationalities — Lithuanian, Latvian, and Danish. By Spring 2026, 50 countries were represented on campus, reflecting the truly international community LCC has become.

Between the Classes of 1996 and 2026 are three decades of friendships, experiences, traditions, and stories. Yearbook covers from across the years offer a glimpse into generations of LCC students and the university they called home.

The faces, fashions, hairstyles, and campus surroundings may have changed, but something has remained remarkably consistent: the sense of community at the heart of the LCC experience.

As we celebrate 35 years of LCC, we celebrate the people who have shaped its story — those who were here at the beginning, those who joined along the way, and the generations still to come.
