  TOEFL® is a widely recognized English proficiency test that is accepted for university admission and employment purposes.   

Kinds of TOEFL® test for university

Various types of English proficiency test may be taken to meet the requirements needed to apply to LCC International University. If you decide to take a TOEFL test for admissions purposes, it is important to know your options.  TOEFL iBT® is accepted by universities worldwide, while TOEFL ITP® tests may be taken for a specific institution.

TOEFL IBT® - INTERNET BASED TEST

This test is accepted around the world as an indicator of student’s ability to handle university-level English language. Tests can be taken at official test centers or the TOEFL iBT Home Edition® can be taken online.

If you need to take an English proficiency test for other universities as well as LCC, this test is a good option for you.

Take the test at LCC: TOEFL ITP® - Institutional Testing Program

 Are you planning to apply to LCC? If you need the test only for LCC admissions, we recommend taking the cost-effective TOEFL ITP test, which is available both on-campus and online at LCC International University.

TOEFL ITP On-campus

The next TOEFL ITP on-campus test dates are planned for the following dates:

  • December 15, 15:00

Please register for the TOEFL ITP test at least 1 week in advance!

This test is only available to Lithuanian and Latvian residents or those who are able to take the test in person.

 Information about the test may also be sent to you after you submit a BA program application.

TOEFL ITP Online

The next TOEFL ITP online test dates are planned for the following dates:

  • December 7

Please register for the TOEFL ITP test at least 1 week in advance!

Unfortunately, the online test is not available for Lithuanian and Latvian applicants due to limited space.

PREPARE FOR THE TEST

SEMINAR & TRIAL TEST

To better prepare and test your skills you can attend an online Seminar and on-campus Trial test. The seminar gives an overview of the test and best strategies for it.

INCLUDES:
  • Day 1: Online Webinar, 1.5 hours
  • Day 2: Trial test, 2 hours 30 minutes
COST, DATE & LOCATION

Seminar with trial test cost 20 Eur and take place at LCC campus in Klaipeda. 


The next TOEFL seminar and trial test are scheduled for January 9-10. 

The seminar takes place on January 9 online. 

The trial test will take place on campus at LCC.

Materials

If you live nearby, you are welcome to use LCC library to find TOEFL® Materials and practice for your test. You can also find a lot of useful materials online.

TOEFL ITP tests are held at LCC International University Campus in Klaipėda, Kretingos g. 36, DeFehr center or online through Zoom.  

IF YOU LIVE FAR FROM LCC

If space is available, prospective LCC students can get free accommodation in halls of residence where you will get a chance to experience university atmosphere. Please send us an email a week in advance.
