LCC International University was pleased to host a Strategic Conversation with the LCC Board of Directors and Lithuanian business leaders. The purpose of this event was to engage in dialogue about collaboration in those areas where we can work better together. Invest Lithuania, Klaipėda Free Economic Zone, Klaipėda ID, and the Klaipėda Seaport Authority offered suggestions related to workforce needs in the region. LCC’s founder, Art DeFehr, shared the original vision of LCC, as well as offered comments regarding the need for immigration reform in Lithuania in order to keep and integrate our international students in Lithuania after graduation.

According to LCC President Marlene Wall, “As LCC continues to grow our international presence, we always want to remain relevant and valuable to the local context. This event was an important part of that ongoing reality.”
