LCC International University > News and Events > Dialogue for Peaceful Change: Training of Trainers Milestone
2025-09-24
As part of the Nordic Council of Ministers–funded mobility project, the Center for Dialogue and Conflict Transformation organized and hosted a Dialogue for Peaceful Change (DPC) Training of Trainers in Klaipėda. While coordinating the event, the Center also joined the learning process directly, with one of our own team members taking part as a participant alongside a representative from our Lithuanian partner Prirašytos Rankos, other Lithuanian NGOs, and members of the LCC International University community. Together, this diverse group began the journey toward becoming accredited DPC associate trainers.
The intensive program offered a deeper exploration of the DPC methodology and gave participants opportunities to practice leading portions of the course under the guidance of experienced coach Linda Skogsby. For everyone involved, including our own team, it marked an important step from understanding the DPC framework to developing the skills needed to guide others through it. Each participant will now continue practical work with an assigned DPC Global coach before full accreditation.
This training is one of several activities supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers grant. Later in the project, we will host another DPC training for facilitators, where we look forward to welcoming representatives from our Latvian partners. We are grateful for this opportunity to strengthen dialogue and conflict transformation capacity across Lithuania, Latvia, and Sweden.
