Who is this program for?

Adults who are looking to improve their Lithuanian and learn about Lithuania.

You get to
  • Learn and practice in a small group of students.
  • Practice Lithuanian language: speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.  
  • Learn about the country, its traditions, customs, and culture. 
  • Learn the history and political environment of Lithuania.

Each week: Tuesdays and Thursdays

 You will be awarded a certificate indicating your level within the Common European Framework if you attend at least 80% of the classes and pass the final test at the end of the course.

Library Access

During the course, you will have access to the university library and will be able to read books, newspapers, and magazines in Lithuanian. To borrow books, present your ID card or passport to the library staff.

Gym Access

Access to the gym at the Michaelsen Centre on campus. Special prices apply to participants of evening courses: 

€5 for a single visit 

€30 for a monthly pass (unlimited visits).

13-week Lithuanian Course

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:30 to 19:00

Courses are held in DeFehr Center on the LCC International University campus in Klaipeda, Kretingos g. 36

    

Application Process

Complete the registration form

Fill out a short registration form on our website. After submitting the form, you will receive an email with payment details and the next steps to complete your registration.  

Take the Lithuanian placement test

Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a link to the placement test via email. If you already took the placement test last semester, you do not need to retake it.    

Make a payment

Please follow the bank transfer instructions provided in your email to make the payment  

Receive your class invitation

A week before the course begins, you’ll receive an email invitation with your class details – including the schedule, classroom number, and other important information.  

Registration and Payment

To apply for the program, you must complete an online registration form by September 7th.  

Placement Test

The placement test is designed to evaluate your Lithuanian language proficiency, enabling us to place you in the appropriate group for optimal learning. 

You can complete the placement test before or after submitting the registration form.

Price and Deadline

The deadline for payment of the course fees is September 21, 2026.

The total price for the 13 -week program is 395 Eur. Payment can be made on campus using cash or credit card or by bank transfer.   

You can make a full payment during the registration process. Alternatively you can pay in two equal parts. To pay in two parts, there is an additional 15 Eur administration fee.

You will receive detailed information about payment and important dates by email once we have received your registration form.

Family / Returning Student Discount

  • If family members are simultaneously studying in any LCC English program, a 10% discount is given to each one.
  • Students who return for the second semester in a row are given a 10% discount for the second semester.
  • Discounts cannot be combined.
