Klaipeda, your home for the next academic year

City by the Sea

Klaipeda is the third largest city in Lithuania, located on the Baltic Sea. It is a thriving cultural and business hub of the region that turns into a resort for the summer season.

With over 80% of youth and many older people speaking English, you will have no difficulties finding your way around town and enjoying local culture.

Explore Europe

Lithuania is a member of the EU and Schengen Agreement, which means you will be able to explore neighboring countries and Central Europe without borders.

Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage site, next to your campus

Experience the unique architecture, breathtaking dunes, lush forests, wild sand beaches without the crowds of tourists. The best part? It's literally 15 minutes away from your campus. One thing we are sure about is that after visiting this place, you won't want to leave!

Klaipeda region has over 100 kilometres of bicycle tracks, major cultural festivals to offer during your stay and close proximity to neighboring resort towns, which are considered some of the most popular in the region. Don't worry, Lithuania is also super affordable, so you will be able to experience a lot.

Vilnius, where your trip begins

Boasting it’s the largest medieval old town in Central and Eastern Europe, Vilnius is increasingly popular for its warming sense of history, bewitching architectural heritage and bustling cafe culture.

And that’s not all… We're sure you'll fall in love with our capital, considered as one of the top 15 destinations to visit by The Independent, New York Times, Matador and many more editorials.

Next stop, Riga! Known as the Paris of North

The Gothic spires that dominate Rīga's cityscape might suggest austerity, but it is the flamboyant art nouveau that forms the flesh and the spirit of this vibrant cosmopolitan city, the largest of all three Baltic capitals. Like all northerners, it is quiet and reserved on the outside, but there is some powerful chemistry going on inside.

Medieval capital of Estonia, Tallinn

It is lively yet peaceful, absurdly photogenic and bursting with wonderful sights – ancient churches, medieval streetscapes and noble merchants' houses. Throw in delightful food and vibrant modern culture and it's no wonder Tallinn is highly loved. It is however, one of those places that seems to cope well with all the attention.

WARSAW & KRAKOW, POLAND

“Understanding places and people that shape us”

"No longer do I see others as citizens of a single geographical location, but rather I see my fellow students and cherished mentors as experienced citizens of different homes for distinctly different seasons of life. No longer will I ask people where they are from, but I will seek to understand the places and people groups that have shaped them. We are so much more than the latitude and longitude where we were born"
