Bio

Dr. Kirk Kauffeldt joined LCC in 2013. He is a Canadian who has lived and worked in several international settings. He currently serves as the Director for International Extension Studies at Summit Pacific College and the Director GlobalEd, the equipping program of Mission Global (Canada) which supports theological education and leadership initiatives around the world. This involves consultation and advising for purposes of strategic effectiveness and the mobilization of scholarship support and personnel to support the work of international partners.  Dr. Kauffeldt has over thirty-five years of executive leadership and teaching experience in Christian higher education serving at universities in Canada, Indonesia and LCC. Dr. Kauffeldt’s academic background includes an M.Ed. in Student Development from Western Washington University, and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Theory and Policy from the University of Toronto with a dissertation research focus on Quality Assurance. He currently serves as a Board member for international post secondary institutions including institutions in Hong Kong, India, Kenya and Zimbabwe. His teaching focus is Leadership and Non-Profit Organizational Strategy.
