LCC Migration Affairs Office exists to guide non-Lithuanian LCC students through the process of obtaining the documents required for legal residence in the Republic of Lithuania.
Please note that our Office does not have direct control over the migration processes, nor can we affect the decisions of the Lithuanian Migration Department (an institution in charge of all migration-related issues in the Republic of Lithuania). But we are ready to advise when possible!
Non—EU citizens intending to study in the Republic of Lithuania will have to obtain a Lithuanian National Visa in order to enter Lithuania and begin their studies. Students will apply for Lithuanian National Visa through the Lithuanian Embassy or Consulate in their home country.
Please note that Lithuanian National Visa is the ONLY option for students to come and study legally in Lithuania.
If you will apply for a different type of visa, you will NOT be allowed to study at LCC International University.
Lithuanian National Visa allows travelling in Schengen area for 90 days in half a year.
We strongly recommend you to follow our instructions. In case you fail to do this, you might not get your visa on time, and thus you will not be able to study at LCC.
Additional information about each step of document preparation is provided further in this page.
In case you have any questions regarding the preparation of the documents, please contact our office or contact your Lithuanian Consulate/Embassy.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ORDER FOR YOU TO BEGIN VISA APPLICATION PROCESS, YOUR INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT MUST BE VALID FOR MORE THAN 12 MONTHS AT THE TIME YOU SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FORM.
