Need-Based Aid (NB Aid) - Global Grant
In order to receive Global Grant for 2025-2026 academic year you will have to go through the following steps:
1. Check your eligibility. Please see the detailed list of eligible countries below:
Africa: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic (CAR), Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela.
North America: Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Dominica.
Indian Subcontinent: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.
South-Eastern Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, Philippines.
2. Submit a complete online application form. The application is considered as complete, if:
- online application is completely and correctly filled out,
- all required documents with official translations (if applicable) are attached,
- all required documents are official,
- all required documents represent information for the recent 12 months period,
- IMPORTANT: an email is received from Student Financial Services confirming that the application is accepted. If such email is not received, the application is considered as incomplete or in process.
Students fill out Global Grant application and submit required documents in the following years of their studies:
- Prospective students apply prior their admission to LCC for their Freshmen year.
- In their Freshmen year, students apply for their Sophomore year.
- In their Sophomore year, students apply for their Junior and Senior years of studies combined.
Application Deadlines:
- Prospective (incoming) students: the early application deadline is April 15, 2025.
- Current students: the application deadline has already passed. The due date was November 15, 2024, and late Need-Based Aid application forms are not accepted.
Application must be filled out in English. Documents should be submitted in Lithuanian or English only. If your documents are in a different language, please attach an official translation.
All financial information must be completed in the student’s national currency.
Do not leave any questions blank. If your answer is 0, please use a “0”. If a question does not apply to you, please use the abbreviation “N/A”. Incomplete information may delay the processing of your application.
The completed application becomes the confidential property of LCC and is not returnable.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all the information and accompanying material provided in connection with their application is authentic and accurate.
LCC may at any time require applicants to provide satisfactory verification of the information and documents submitted as part of their application. If an applicant is unable to do so, the University reserves the right to cease consideration of the application and to withdraw any offer of financial aid already made.
Only complete NB Aid applications with required documentation will be processed.
Only official documents will be accepted. A document is considered as official, if it has an institution's that issued the document stamp and its representative's signature.
