Need-Based Aid
In order to possibly receive Need-Based Aid for 2026-2027 & 2027-2028 academic years you will have to go through the following steps:
1. Submit a complete online application form. The application is considered as complete, if:
- online application is completely and correctly filled out,
- all required documents with official translations (if applicable) are attached,
- all required documents are official,
- all required documents represent information for the recent 12 months period,
- IMPORTANT: an email is received from the Admissions team confirming that the application is accepted. If such email is not received, the application is considered as incomplete or in process.
2. Students fill out Need-Based Aid application and submit required documents in the following years of their studies:
- Prospective students apply prior their admission to LCC for their Freshmen & Sophomore years.
- In their Sophomore year, students apply for their Junior & Senior years of studies.
Application Deadline:
- Prospective (incoming) students for Fall 2026: the early application deadline is April 15, 2026.
3. Based on the country of origin, LCC will assign the application to one of the Need-Based Aid types: either LCC Need-Based Aid or the Global Grant. Students are not involved in this process.

Eligible to apply for LCC Need-Based Aid:
Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
Western Asia: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Georgia.
Eastern Europe: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine.
Northern Europe: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom.
Southern Europe: Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Portugal, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Vatican City.
Western Europe: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Switzerland.
Northern America: Canada, United States.
Eligible to apply for Global Grant:
Caribbean: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago.
Central Africa: Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, São Tomé and Príncipe.
Eastern Africa: Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Northern Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia.
Southern Africa: Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa.

Micronesia: Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu.
Australia and New Zealand: Australia, New Zealand.
Application Guidelines:
The application form must be completed in English. All financial information must be completed in the student’s national currency.
Do not leave any questions blank. If your answer is 0, please use a “0”. If a question does not apply to you, please use the abbreviation “N/A”. Incomplete information may delay the processing of your application.
Supporting documents may be submitted in either Lithuanian or English. If your documents are in another language, you must include both the original and an official translation. All required documents must be scanned in color.
The completed application becomes the confidential property of LCC.
Applicants are fully responsible for ensuring that all information and supporting documents are authentic and accurate.
LCC may at any time require applicants to provide satisfactory verification of the information and documents submitted as part of their application. If an applicant is unable to do so, the University reserves the right to cease consideration of the application and to withdraw any offer of financial aid already made.
Only official documents will be accepted. A document is considered official if it includes the issuing institution’s stamp and the signature of its authorized representative.
Only complete applications with all required documentation will be processed.
