Assisting war-affected individuals by providing an opportunity to start or continue their BA education at LCC International University. An intensive English program (if needed) and supplemental support systems are a part of the scholarship package.
High-potential candidates whose opportunity for study has been disrupted by war and violence are identified as LCC works in partnership with UNHCR, NGOs, and various humanitarian organizations. LCC‘s Middle East Scholars program has been identified by UNHCR as „the sole initiative across the Nordic and Baltic states which currently meets the definition of complementary pathways.“
Admission to the program
Students can apply or be referred to the program. Along with the regular admission application, every student will need to provide an English language proficiency test score (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo), former educational documents and undergo a personal interview.
