LCC International University seeks a Chair for the Social Sciences Department

We are looking for someone who has energy, creativity, and vision for launching a new Psychology major, as well as for supporting and promoting minors in Sociology, Conflict Studies, and Psychology.

Position: Full-time position as Chair of Social Sciences Department

Start Date: August 1, 2009 (length of commitment negotiable)

Responsibilities
  • provide leadership for the Social Sciences Department, ensuring overall program excellence
  • recruit faculty for the Social Sciences department
  • teach several undergraduate Social Sciences courses per year
Qualifications
  • PhD in Psychology, Sociology or related field
  • college teaching experience required
  • administrative experience preferred
  • leadership and team-building skills required
  • commitment to liberal arts education within the international context of LCC

LCC is an accredited, BA granting Christian liberal arts university located in Klaipeda, Lithuania, an EU member state since 2004.
